Gemma and baby Gamaliel

Photographing Gemma and her family was so fun. Initially, she was just going to come with her boys, but her mother (Tita) had flown in for the birth, and her sister (Majo) came to take care of her sons while she was being photographed, so it was a great family experience. Lots of talking and laughing, with the boys playing in the background.


This is Gemma's third baby, and she looks amazing!

I had the opportunity to shoot with Chris Uglanica, and Edmonton photographer whose work I absolutely love. His use of colour is amazing - check out his photos on his blog too.

Maya's Arrived!

Maya Lynn was born May 5th, 2007, 8 lbs 8 oz, with no drugs. Yeah Tracy!

Tracy and Wayne's wedding was my first photoshoot ever - and I had forgotten how photogenic Tracy (and of course Wayne) is. She's the best kind of person to photograph - asking "what do you want me to do?"

Maya is their third baby and Tracy wanted record this magical time in photographs.

And she has the cutest belly button I have ever seen

Tamy and Mike

Tamy and Mike are getting married in the Philippines in August and wanted some photographs to show their families back home. They wanted snow in their photos and I was beginning to panic as the two weeks before our shoot were really warm (for Edmonton in March!) and all the snow was disappearing.

The day of our shoot, it was freezing cold, but Tamy and Mike were such good sports as we raced around the river valley getting in as many photos as we could before we froze to death.

Tamy and Mike are a really sweet couple and I can't wait to hear how their wedding goes.

The Mechanic and His Family

I spent last Saturday with Kevan, Leanne, and two of their five children, Trail and Mikey. This was my favourite kind of shoot - capturing images of people going about their daily lives.
